My career began in the fast-paced world of journalism, where I honed my skills in research, copy editing and crafting clear, impactful articles, and developed a keen eye for detail. Over the years, I’ve covered a variety of topics, always striving to bring a fresh perspective and a human touch to my writing.

I successfully published more than 30 fiction and nonfiction books through my other business, Sun Up Press.  Through my fiction, I explored the realms of creativity, weaving tales that captivate the imagination. Whether it’s character development or world-building, I enjoy experimenting with different genres and styles, always seeking to connect with readers on a deeper level.

I founded Skeleton Crew PR because I believe that every author, musician and artist deserves to shine, and I love collaborating with fellow creatives to find their voices, bring their visions to life and connect with audiences.

When I’m not immersed in the world of words, you can find me listening to music, exercising, or diving into a new novel.  Possibly refereeing a literal cat fight in my living room.

  • 24+ years journalism, nonfiction writing and copy editing/proofreading experience.
  • 24+ years experience working in fast-paced environments where deadlines must be met.
  • 14+ years experience working remotely, managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously. This experience also translates into excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, problem-solving on the fly and a can-to attitude.
  • 14+ years experience formatting and publishing fiction and nonfiction books.
  • 5+ years graphic design, including eBook cover design, experience.
  • 5+ years social media experience.
  • A B.A. degree and certificates in social media, graphic design and public relations.
